Some of the early blockchain partners are revealed by the most desired brand Samsung for its upcoming cellphone Galaxy S10.
The presentation of the new phone’s Blockchain KeyStore has been made by the company at its Samsung Mobile Business Summit session at MWC Barcelona 2019 on Monday. A picture has been displayed that included the logo for Cosmee, a beauty community service dapp (decentralized application) which is from the Cosmo chain crypto project and it also included that of Enjin crypto gaming platform.
The disclosure of the precise details of the partner services are not made by Samsung but as reported by CoinDesk Korea, they are likely to be featured on the phone at launch.
Cosmochain has given its confirmation of its relationship with Samsung. In an initiative to connect companies of the beauty industry with customers, the project incentivizes users create content which includes reviews with rewards in its ERC -20 token, Cosmo coin (COSM). The Cosmo coins can be saved by the Cosmee users directly in the Galaxy S10’s crypto wallet as confirmed by CoinDesk Korea.
Howon Song, CEO of Cosmochain proclaimed in a report that “Since last year, the blockchain team of Samsung Electronics Wireless Division has been searching for dapps that have been commercialized. As a result, Cosmochain has been selected as a partner of Galaxy S10. We did dozens of meetings to verify the model and technology.”
Although the Enjin Logo has been displayed at the event, the confirmation of its partnership with Samsung has not been made. A wallet app has been showed on the S10 that looked identical to the offering made by Enjin.
The gaming industry has been targeted by Enjin which is a cryptocurrency project. A blockchain game development, as well as tokenized in-game goods and an ERC-20 token called Enjin coin, has been offered as a platform by it.
In accordance with CoinDesk Korea, it is also conveyed by a person familiar with S10’s technology that Samsung has been in discussion with Enjin for about six months.
Blockchain has been used by two Japanese tech giants as an initiative to provide educational records which are bound to be real.
A field trial has been launched to evaluate the utility of blockchain tech in the management of course records and exam grades by Sony Global Education, Fujitsu Ltd., and Fujitsu Research Institute and it has been announced by Sony. It is also in collaboration on trial with Human Academy which is an educational institution which serves foreign students.
A course for the preparation of Nihongo Kentei language proficiency test will be seen by the foreign students in the trial.
Sony said that students can use Fujitsu Fisdom 2 digital learning platform as a part of the course and the data includes study logs and test grades.
In order to gain some employment and education in Japan, the result of Japanese classes and exams must be provided. Educational data provided over a blockchain can potentially give a reliable source to the institutions about the student’s ability to speak Japanese.
Education blockchain network could be run by teachers, students. Educational experiences would be shared by the chain after its proper exchange and transactions by users.
